A quality glazed mahogany bureau bookcase dating to c1905. 

The top with moulded edge and low shaped back over two glazed doors with the original glass enclosing two adjustable shelves.  The base has a cylinder retracting top enclosing a fully fitted interior with pigeon holes, a small drawer and a pull out writing surface with its original gilt edged leather insert.  Below are two further drawers.  Standing on elegant slender legs joined by a stretcher.  Complete with it's original hardware. 

Nice colour and grain which does not show up well in my photos.   

Measurements: Width 830mm, Depth 480mm, Height 1850mm (max).

Condition report: Solid and original throughout.  Some use marks commensurate with age and use.  There is some rubbing to the cylinder desk top but nothing that detracts.
