A lovely framed tapestry dating to c1870.

The frame with carved and pierced detail is highlighted with gilding.  Complete with its original glass.  The detailed tapestry depicts a medieval scene of a child reading to its mother whilst another lady looks on.  With nice colours and intricate needlework.  

Measurements: Width 620mm, Depth 40mm, Height 730mm.

Condition report: Solid and original throughout.  Some slight fading.  The back has been replaced recently.
